Stephen Hansen

Stephen comes from a dairy farming background and joined Rural Business Tasmania in February 2020 as a small business financial counsellor after a 30 year career in agri-banking and finance with both Westpac and Elders Rural Bank.

Stephen’s role is the Head of Business Projects, overseeing the delivery of various programs and services to the wider Tasmanian community. 

​

In addition to Stephen's experience in banking and finance, he holds qualifications in business management and accounting from Charles Sturt University. 

​

Outside of work, he an avid golfer and enjoys photography.
