Stephen Hansen
Financial Counsellor
Stephen comes from a dairy farming background and joined Rural Business Tasmania in February 2020 as a small business financial counsellor after a 30 year career in agri-banking and finance with both Westpac and Elders Rural Bank.
Currently, Stephen is a part of the financial counselling team, specialising in small businesses, and is also an advisor for Business Tasmania's Tasmanian Business Advice Service. His extensive experience helps local businesses navigate financial challenges and opportunities with confidence.
In addition to Stephen's experience in banking and finance, he holds qualifications in business management and accounting from Charles Sturt University.
Outside of work, he an avid golfer and enjoys photography.
