New Business Support Pilot program
The delivery of free and independent business advice funded by the Tasmanian Government is provided under the Tasmanian Business Advice Service. This is complemented by the New Business Support Pilot Program, an advice service for business intenders, new and early-stage businesses.
People thinking about starting a business and new small businesses can receive up to two hours of free advice under the New Business Support Pilot Program.
Farm Business Assistance Program
If you operate an agricultural small business and need help applying for grants and programs, the Farm Business Assistance Program can help.
The FBA Program offers support to guide you through the application process for drought grants and connects you with worthwhile support programs.
Mentorship Program
The Mentorship Program is designed to pair new entrants to the agricultural industry with existing leaders within this sector. These leaders have a wide range of skills throughout specialities such as agronomy, cropping , all the way through to business leadership and financial management. Mentees are paired with mentors based on the enterprise they operate in and skills they would like to develop to support their operations and reach their future goals.
